I graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics with minors in Secondary Education and Mathematics. While I was working to complete my minor in Secondary Education, I spent two semesters working as a student teacher and completing volunteer work that required me to work with a variety of different students. Since graduation, I've worked at a math learning center, where I tutor students enrolled at the center as well as private clients.I enjoy teaching math because I believe that it's the foundation on which the world operates. It's a subject that's practical and used every single day. I strive to help students who fear math develop better ways of solving problems to overcome their academic obstacles so that they can conquer the subject. I tutor students in the Stafford, Virginia area in elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, AP Calculus AB, trigonometry, math, arithmetic, science, and physics. I also offer test prep services to students preparing for the SAT.When I have free time, I enjoy playing soccer, taekwondo, walking, running, reading, and playing video games.
