I am a Dental student currently in UMD's School of Dental Surgery Biology Experience: I was a Biology Major and have taken several courses at VCU MCV medical campus in physiology, histology and biochemistry . I can tutor generally all science subjects for elementary, middle and high school students. English Experience: I am currently tutoring English pronunciation and reading to elementary students. I have 2 years of experience in tutoring particularly young elementary students how to read and also English pronunciation. I have also traveled to Korea twice as an English Teacher for elementary students in the summers. Theatre/public speaking: In High School, I was the president of the International Thespian Society and was highly involved in Theatre. Our school participated in the VHSL one act competition where I was the understudy, set designer and Assistant Director. Our play won 1st place for districts, regionals and placed 3rd in state. If you are trying to score a role in a play, need help for a performance, public speaking help or improving in interviews, I can ensure that I will coach you with patience and allow you to achieve your goals. Art Experience: I was also the Art submissions editor for our school's Literary Art Magazine, which won several prestigious awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, which we received a Gold Crown Award. Approximately 20 magazines nationwide receive a crown. Magazines can earn either a Silver Crown or a Gold Crown. I am an optimistic and patient tutor and looking forward towards meeting you! It is truly rewarding to work with students and I will invest myself. I do not have a car, so I would tutor in public locations such as the MCV library or Richmond Public Library.
